We help you manage your clients' Cloudflare zones, their Porkbun domains, their NameSilo records — all from one dashboard.

No, we're a management layer. Your DNS stays with your existing providers (Cloudflare, Porkbun, etc.). We provide unified management, backups, monitoring, and alerting — but your actual DNS records remain with your chosen providers.

No, and we have no plans to add AI. Unified DNS is a straightforward tool that does exactly what it says — it manages DNS records, creates backups, and monitors your zones. We don't see a benefit to adding AI to DNS management. Your records are displayed accurately, synced reliably, and backed up automatically. No AI hallucinations, no "suggestions" that might break your mail flow. Just solid, predictable tooling.

Yes. We take security seriously:

• API credentials are stored in encrypted Azure Key Vaults, never in the database
• All provider API calls are made server-side — no client-side exposure
• Multi-factor authentication with TOTP and backup codes
• Configurable session timeouts with automatic enforcement
• Full audit logging of all actions
• True multi-tenant isolation — one client's data can never access another's

You choose! Backups can be stored in your own Azure Blob Storage account or SharePoint. We can even auto-provision an Azure Storage account in your tenant through our OAuth flow. Your backups are always in storage YOU control — not ours.

Yes. MFA is built-in with TOTP (works with any authenticator app like Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.) and backup codes for account recovery. Organizations can enforce MFA policies for all team members.

Not currently, but it is on our future roadmap as an organization setting to lock access down to Zero Trust networks like Timus, Zscaler, or similar platforms.

Nothing changes with your DNS — your records stay exactly where they are with your providers (Cloudflare, Porkbun, etc.). We're a management layer, not a DNS host. And here's what makes us different: your backups are stored in YOUR storage that you control, not ours. You keep all your backup data even after you leave.

You choose! Retention is configurable from 30 days up to 2 years (730 days). The default is 90 days, but organizations with compliance requirements can extend this as needed. This setting is controlled at the organization level.

Yes, extensively:

• Backups are in standard formats (BIND zone files and JSON) stored in your own storage accounts

We use a dual-file backup format: standard BIND zone files (industry standard, usable anywhere) plus a JSON settings file with additional metadata. This means you're never locked in — your backups work with any DNS provider or tool that supports BIND format.
