Why It Exists
Unified DNS was built to manage every provider from one place. That only works if the provider actually lets you in — and some of the biggest registrars gate API access behind domain-count minimums or a paid add-on plan most small business clients will never hit. UDNS Hosted closes that gap: a client's domain can point its nameservers straight at UDNS and get managed in the same dashboard as every other client domain, regardless of where it's registered.

Does UDNS Hosted cost extra per zone?
No. Hosting is included in your Unified DNS plan at no additional per-zone cost. Pricing is based on total domain count, starting at $100/month for up to 50 domains.
Do I need to move my domain registrar?
No. UDNS Hosted doesn't touch domain registration — it hosts DNS for domains that stay wherever they're already registered. Only the NS records at the registrar need to change, to point at the nameserver pair assigned to the zone.
Is it white-labelled?
No. The nameservers are shared, platform-branded hostnames (ns1.udns.zone and ns2.udns.zone today), not a hostname on the MSP's own domain. What the MSP owns is the operational layer — the infrastructure decisions, the API keys, the data, and the audit trail.
Can I still manage a client's zone hosted elsewhere?
Yes. Unified DNS manages zones hosted on Cloudflare, NameSilo, Namecheap, Porkbun, OpenSRS, Azure DNS, and more from the same dashboard as UDNS Hosted. Nothing about hosting a zone with UDNS is required to manage the rest of a client's domains.
