What is the Rural Technology Fund?

The Rural Technology Fund (RTF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to bring technology access to rural classrooms and communities that don't typically have it. This isn't about handing out laptops. It's about creating sustainable technology education and access in areas where the digital divide is very real.

In 2026, RejectionCon raised $80,000 USD for RTF — building on the over $50,000 raised for RTF through the 2025 event.

What was RejectionCon 2026?

RejectionCon was a virtual MSP conference held May 26–28, 2026. It was built around speakers who were passed over by traditional conferences — not because they weren't qualified, but because they didn't fit the standard template or there weren't enough spots.

The result was a lineup of practitioners doing real work who were willing to talk about what things actually look like behind the scenes.
